FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF NORTHWEST MIGRATION

I. The White race in North America is in danger of literal, physical extinction. If current destructive demographic trends continue, White people will be a minority in the United States and Canada by the year 2050, and we will have vanished completely from North America by 2100. The real point of no return, however, is far closer. By the year 2020, the median age of the White population of North America will have become so high that we will no longer be capable of reproducing ourselves in sufficient numbers to overcome the tide of mud-colored Third World immigration.

II. We as a people have wasted the past six decades on pointless, futile and impotent right-wing and kosher conservative organizations and strategies. The overwhelming majority of these past organizations and movements refused to recognize the vital central importance of race in all issues, and they refused to recognize the urgent need for state power in order to preserve the existence of our race. The few attempts which have been made to resist racial extinction by groups and personalities of an openly National Socialist or racialist nature have been led by men who were stupid, incompetent, dishonest, or some combination of all three. The result of the past sixty years of right-wing failure and impotence is that we are now out of time.

III. There is only one strategy remaining to us which may be able to secure the existence of our people and a future for White children. Our last remaining hope to stave off extinction is the establishment of a sovereign and independent nation on the continent of North America for White people only.

IV. Considerations of demographics, economics, and a history of commitment and martyrdom in the persons of Bob Matthews, Sam and Vicky Weaver, and Richard Butler dictate that the territory for this sovereign Aryan republic must lie in the Pacific Northwest.

V. The first step towards the establishment of the Northwest American Republic is a mass migration of the existing racially aware White community to the states of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. It is a matter of the utmost urgency that you make this vitally important commitment to the future of our people, that you do so now, and that you come to the Homeland with only the minimum delay necessary to raise sufficient funds and put your affairs in order.

Once I seen, just like many of you did the past few days, that many,many download links disappeared / were deleted, I cleaned the blog a bit and erased many posts.

I am not uploading all that stuff, and most links I found, didn't bother noting where they originally came from, so can not check if they fixed them.
I MIGHT re-upload radio shows or interviews.

Probably many will move back into Soulseek and the PirateBay to find what they desire if it continues, with most sites similar to megaupload being closed down.

Israeli officials told visiting USS Chief Joint of Staffs Martin Dempsey that it would give President Barack Obama no more than 12 hours notice if and when it attacks Iran, The London Times reported Sunday.

The Netanyahu government also will not coordinate with the United States an attack on the Islamic Republic, according to the report, the latest in a number of suposed scenarios concerning cooperation or lack of it between Jerusalem and Washington.

It is left to speculation whether the rumors are based on facts or are leaked by officials to mask the possibility of secret military coordination.

The London Times said its sources explained that that Israel fears that President Obama would try to torpedo an Israel attack if more notice were given because he is concerned that Iran will respond by blocking the Strait of Hormuz, sparking a rise in the price of oil that could cripple Western economies. If the attack were to occur in the next 10 months, it would put President Obama in a tight spot on the eve of his bid for re-election.

President Shimon Peres told Dempsey, "I am sure that in this fight [against Iran] we will emerge victorious. It is a fight that does not belong exclusively to the United States or Israel, but a global struggle to create a safe world for all peoples.”

Dempsey, on his first official visit to Israel, was wined and dined by Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gants, who went so far as to arrange an IDF orchestra rendition of song made famous by Frank Sinatra, one of Dempsey’s favorite singers.

Dempsey tried to play down the postponement of what was billed as the largest-ever joint military drill between the Israeli and American armies, involving thousands of U.S. Army soldiers.

Published reasons for the delay have ranged from budgetary constraints, logistical problems to a signal from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that he distrusts President Obama’s commitment to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Dempsey maintained that the delay, which was announced by Israel, will give both countries more time to prepare and “achieve a better outcome.”

The top American general left Israel on Friday, before the Sabbath began.

Police in Toronto and Jamaica say gang-related homicides have significantly declined in the 20 months since the arrests of key leaders of the Shower Posse.

Jamaican officials say a drastic 32 per cent decline in the Caribbean country's homicide rate is largely thanks to a 2010 crackdown on the Shower Posse, considered to be one of the most dangerous gangs in the world.

In Toronto, homicide rates dropped to a 25-year low last year following a two-year anti-gang campaign that disrupted the Posse.

Toronto police Chief Bill Blair says the decline cannot be specifically attributed to the arrest of Shower Posse leaders but that the gang's influence in the city has "diminished quite significantly."

Several of the alleged leaders of the Toronto wing of the Shower Posse have recently pleaded guilty to a slew of charges, ranging from drug trafficking and conspiracy to racketeering and gun running.

However, none of them has pleaded guilty to membership in a criminal organization - which comes as no surprise to Toronto police Det. Douglas Backus of the guns and gangs task force.

In gangs, pleading guilty to membership in a criminal organization is tantamount to being an "informant" or a "snitch," Backus said.

"It's a death sentence," said the detective.

Wiretaps reveal connections

Backus has no doubt that the Shower Posse - so called because of the gang's penchant for showering enemies with bullets - has had a significant presence in Toronto and other Canadian cities.

Wiretaps collected by Toronto police reveal that leaders of the Toronto wing frequently chatted with a handful of Shower Posse leaders in Jamaica at the height of the country's attempted takedown of the gang's alleged kingpin, Christopher (Dudus) Coke.

In late May 2010, at least 73 people died in the West Kingston neighbourhood of Tivoli Gardens, the gang's home base, when police raided the area in search of Coke.

"They talked about how Tivoli Gardens would be a disaster and how the parishes of West Kingston would come together to fight to prevent it," Backus said.

Toronto police say the wiretapped phone calls are a clear indication of a formidable alliance between Posse members in Toronto and Kingston.

However, a defence lawyer for a man accused of being Toronto's Shower Posse leader argues that there's no evidence that the gang even exists and says the intercepted conversations don't prove anything.

The deputy commissioner of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Glenmore Hinds, confirmed that his force's investigation showed that Coke certainly had a "franchise in Canada," with members of his Posse distributing drugs in Canada and sending back "tribute payments in the form of cash or illegal guns to Coke."

CBC News has also learned that some of the alleged Posse leaders in Toronto would send a substantial portion of their own earnings to Jamaica, where they bought lavish homes in upscale neighbourhoods and laundered their ill-begotten revenue by investing in legitimate businesses such as trucking, road construction, high-end bars and restaurants.

In wiretaps of Coke's sister, who lives in the Greater Toronto Area, she can be heard telling an associate that her brother was "chilling" in Toronto. Although Toronto police say they never saw him in the city, a reliable source told CBC News that some time in 2009, the notorious drug kingpin, indeed, visited relatives and friends in Toronto and that he was using an alias at the time.

Flying under the radar

Toronto police teamed up in 2008 with their counterparts in the U.S. and Jamaica to launch a massive crackdown against violent street gangs operating in the Greater Toronto Area.

Investigators discovered that large quantities of cocaine and marijuana were being shipped from Jamaica to U.S. cities before being smuggled into Canada, where the drugs were repackaged and sold by street gangs in major cities.

Police zeroed in on a handful of suspected drug suppliers and began wire tapping their conversations. In all, over 200,000 wiretaps were conducted over five years.

In 2009 and 2010, police officers conducted raids in Ontario, seizing firearms and drugs. More than 100 suspected gang members were arrested, including key leaders of the Shower Posse, Toronto police say.

With street names such as "Whoppy King," "Blue" and "Showerman," Posse leaders managed to fly under the radar of investigators. Backus says Posse members were also older and more experienced than the young "hot heads" who run typical street gangs.

"[Shower Posse members] are often quiet and sophisticated when compared to the street gangs that do their dirty work for them," Backus said.

The future fight

But the fight against the notorious Posse is far from over.

Blair and Hinds say much more work needs to be done, both in Toronto and in Kingston.

Jamaican police estimate that 80 per cent of all homicides in the country are committed by criminal gangs.

"If we are able to dismantle these gangs, then we'll see a reduction of at least 80 per cent of our murders, and that will lead to a better quality of life," said Hinds.

Toronto's police chief is optimistic in the aftermath of the city's gang raids.

"There have been significantly fewer homicides this [past] year, and sometimes, it is difficult to quantify what didn't happen," said Blair.

Blair says the force's new community-focused approach could yield even bigger dividends in the future.

"We are not just cutting off the head, but we are making it difficult for anyone to step in and take up the slack that we've created," said Blair. "I think that is important."

"We have learned that lesson, and as we apply it, we are going to have a more positive effect."

Charles Shepard, a Brandon, Manitoba resident withdrew 12 of the new plastic $100 bills from a local bank. When he received the bills, he noticed two of them already had cracks in them and started tearing even more when he handled them.

This was surprising given that these new polymer bills have been billed as nearly indestructible. According to the Bank of Canada, the new bills are supposed to last two-and-a-half times longer than the old paper ones.

When Shepard got home, he decided to put the new bills to the test.

He took a cracked bill and placed a full Coca Cola can on top of it. When he pulled the bill, it easily ripped into half. He tried the same test with a cracked $50 paper bill and increased the weight to three Coke cans. The bill dragged the cans along with itself. Then, Shepard placed three Coke cans on a 2-ply toilet paper and surprisingly there were no tears.

So there you have it: our new $100 Canadian bill is weaker than something you wipe with.

Two of the main reasons for rolling out the new bills were to tackle counterfeit bills and make a more durable currency. After this home experiment, it’s clear that the new polymer bills aren’t as strong as they are portrayed to be.

Moreover, the Bank of Canada knew about this issue. As seen in the video, Bank of Canada’s regional representative said, “One of the elements of the polymer compound upon which the bills are printed will basically cause the bills to tear is there’s a nick on any of the four sides of the bill.”

It is interesting to see that the bank rolled out these new bills without resolving the problem first. The least they could have done was inform Canadians of this issue.

With the new $50 scheduled to circulate in March 2012, it would be a good idea for the Bank of Canada to iron out all the nicks and cracks.

Mixtape mecca and openair piracy expo Megaupload has a serious problem: it's just been shut down by the feds. The feds. And they didn't even need SOPA!

The federal indictment accuses Megaupload—which shocked the internet with the revelation that rap producer Swizz Beatz is for some reason its CEO—of over $500 million in lost media revenue from hosting pirated media. They had quite a run, though! Megaupload boasted "more than 150 million registered users, 50 million daily visitors and accounting for four percent of the total traffic on the Internet," according to the DoJ. And some famous friends.

Lucky for us, there are plenty of alternatives to Megaupload. And luckily for Swizz Beatz, he's still a super-successful rap producer, an NYU professor, and Alicia Keys' husband. Not so lucky? Update: The WSJ says seven Megaupload employees are under arrest, with four already locked down—four of them in New Zealand! No word if one of them is Swizzy himself.

Update 3: The AP reports the following statement from Megaupload: "The fact is that the vast majority of Mega's Internet traffic is legitimate, and we are here to stay. If the content industry would like to take advantage of our popularity, we are happy to enter into a dialogue. We have some good ideas. Please get in touch."

NOW, I also will be paying closer attention to any transactions I make when currency is exchanged. It has usually been close so, I did not think ever I could be getting chiselled.

Does Paypal get a KICKBACK for dishonest currency conversions?
I ask this, because there would seem to be no other reason to be almost a dollar high...
I use this .. http://Currency-converter.org.uk for my rates.. and This, as shown in the picture below..

was the rate at the very moment I paid (or attempted to pay) a bill..
My bill was 11.95 Pounds.. I had 18 dollars and 94 cents.. as you can see in the posted picture, I should have enough..
So why wouldn't it go through?
Well, even though i had enough , *paypal's* currency converter, at THE VERY SAME MOMENT in time, and remember, these are adjusted dynamically, so paypal's rates should NOT differ from the market's rates... Well, they do, by almost a dollar.. Seems Paypal converted it to 19 dollars and 45 cents..
every time..
So now i've had to try a workaround with the vendor I did a transaction with.. because I can't trust Paypal's rate conversion .. and what happens to the difference?.. i know I don't get it.. the vendor doesn't get it.. remember, he's getting paid in pounds.. so who keeps the difference?.. why.. Paypal, of course..
Now imagine 50,000 transactions a day, each with 3 to 5% siphoned off..
That's a WHOLE LOT of money...
Can you understand why I'm pissed?

The Vatican Secret Archives have opened up their vaults, at least to the extent that 100 documents will go on public display in Rome from February to September of 2012.

It is thought that this will be the first (and likely last) time the priceless papers will leave the confines of the Holy City and travel to a local museum. They are celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Vatican Secret Archives as we know them today.

The Archives are kept in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace as well as a climate controlled, highly guarded underground bunker. It is estimated that it takes over 80 kilometers of shelves to hold them.

QUEENS, KINGS & SCIENCE

The public display will include a letter from Mary Queen of Scots shortly before her execution in 1587. There’s a letter from Parliament asking Pope Clement VII to annul the marriage of King Henry VIII to Catherine of Aragon. The annulment was not granted, a dispute followed, and subsequently the Church of England was founded.

Documents revealed by Galileo whose heresy was believing the earth revolved around the sun. Previously unseen documents involving Pius XII will be shown. He was Pope from 1939-1958 and has been accused of not doing enough to speak out against Nazi WWII atrocities.

Vatican archivists have painstakingly assembled the display and it will be quite a slice of history. It is a shame however that one group in possession of so much of the world’s history and chooses to keep it a secret. As a private corporation I imagine it is their right to do so. I mean it’s not like they have shareholders to answer to, per se. Why go to the trouble of collecting and saving history if it’s only going to sit on a shelf and collect Catholic dust.

Likely among 80 kilometers of documents there’s a lot of dry correspondence and maybe a few requisition forms for paper clips, gas receipts for the Popemobile and the like. However, these documents should be opened up completely to huge teams of university level historians and archivists who could piece together a lot of our common past. As a result, great books could be written and eventually material could be digitized and made available on line for the world to see. A mammoth undertaking to be sure, but it should at least begin.

What is to be gained from secrecy? Secrecy has never served the Catholic Church well, if anything it’s led shameful discomfort and worse, trauma and pain. Yet they don’t seem to learn. They carefully “leak” 100 documents out of 80 km worth. At least it’s something.

During the Marc Lemire hearing this week, Federal Court Justice - Mr. Justice Richard Mosley - took great offense that Lemire’s lawyer Barbara Kulaszka dared to describe Canada’s internet censorship law - Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act as similar to the worst repressive totalitarian regimes such as the Nazis or the Communists.

Joseph Brean writing in the National Post described the encounter as: “Ms. Kulaszka compared Section 13, and its supposed 100% conviction rate, to Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, which did not sit well with Judge Mosley. ‘Let's not get carried away with hyperbole. Some comparisons are offensive,’ he said. ‘Counsel should know this and restrain yourself.’”

A U.S. payroll tax bill, containing a provision requiring President Barack Obama to make a decision on the controversial Keystone XL pipeline project in 60 days, has passed the American Senate.

While it still requires Obama to sign it into law, the U.S. president indicated he would ink the deal.

"This is spending money that also benefits families and businesses and the entire economy," said Obama in a news conference midday Saturday. He did not comment on the XL issue.

Earlier in the day, the Senate passed the bill which would renew Social Security payroll tax cuts to 160 million people and extend weekly payments to the unemployed who have been out of work for six months or more.

Several government agencies, including the Department of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency and Labor Department, could have shut down this weekend as their funding was exhausted without the bill.

The most contentious part of that bill is the $7-billion Keystone pipeline, which would run 2,673 kilometres from Alberta to Texas, carrying up to 830,000 barrels of crude per day from northern Alberta to refineries in Oklahoma and the Gulf Coast in Texas.

Environmentalists are concerned about the pipeline, which would pass over the Ogallala aquifer. The aquifer supplies drinking water to about two million people in Nebraska and seven other states.

More than 100 apples mysteriously rained down upon a small British town on Monday night. The still-unexplained apple shower left 20 yards of city streets and car windshields covered in the cascading fruit just after the daily rush hour.

The news immediately brought up comparisons to biblical tales of raining frogs and whether such reported freaks of nature actually occurred. In this instance, no one has officially confirmed when, how or if the apple storm truly took place as described.

However, Jim Dale, senior meteorologist from the British Weather Services, told the London Telegraph: "The weather we have at the moment is very volatile and we probably have more to come. Essentially these events are caused when a vortex of air, kind of like a mini tornado, lifts things off the ground rising up into the atmosphere until the air around it causes them to fall to earth again."

Dr Lisa Jardine-Wright, a physicist at the Cavendish Laboratory, based at Cambridge University, told the BBC, "Cars and houses have been swept up by tornadoes, so apples are well within the realms of possibility. A tornado which has swept through an orchard will be strong enough to 'suck up' small objects like a vacuum [cleaner]. These small objects would then be deposited back to earth as 'rain' when the whirlwind loses its energy."

Nevertheless, witnesses report that the weather in Coundon in Coventry was reported to be stable and calm at the time of the alleged apple shower. Coventry residents have offered several competing explanations for the event, including a passing plane, roving teenage pranksters--and, yes, witches.

But regardless of the ultimate explanation, the apple storm is no stranger other confirmed, highly unusual forms of precipitation. The BBC offers a roster of pertinent examples:

Frog falls were recorded in Llanddewi, Powys, in 1996 and two years later in Croydon, south London. In 2000, hundreds of dead silver sprats fell out of the sky during a rainstorm in the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth.

There have also been maggot downpours--in Acapulco in 1967 and during a yachting event at the 1976 Olympic Games.

On the sliding scale of inconveniences, an apple storm seems more palatable than maggots. Though, depending on the state of the apples, it's possible that some areas could have experienced both brands of offbeat precipitation at once.

The Perennial Struggle

Every year around this time there is the same list of questions circulating among Christian Identists, and many of us have the same inward struggle. What should we do about Christmas? For many of us it is not a struggle at all. Rather, we simply alienate our families and friends by shunning their pagan holiday. However while it is good never to compromise the truths of our faith, we are also told to love our brethren above all but God Himself. There certainly are places where we should never cross the line, and we should not violate the commandments of God even in spite of our brethren. But it may be advantageous to see Christmas as an occasion to witness to the truth, rather than as an opportunity to somehow prove that we ourselves are more holy than our kith and kin.

Of course many of the people who adhere to the true Christian faith as it is found in Scripture, as those who associate ourselves with one form or another of Christian Identity see it, have come to understand the errors of our ancestors. Therefore it is natural for Christian Identists to despise Christmas as a pagan holiday. They have good reason to do so, because Christmas and many of the things associated with it clearly have pagan origins. But the winter festival has been a de facto part of our culture for thousands of years now - in spite of its complete absence from Scripture. And because of this, it is traditionally a principal gathering time for most White families. In fact, often it is the only time of the year in which many White families take an opportunity to gather at all! And if you are in the position that many in Christian Identity find themselves, the rest of your family celebrates Christmas with all of the usual holiday fervor.

It is fully evident from Scripture that Christ was born not in December, but sometime during the end of what is to us September – that time of the year at which the Old Testament Feast of Trumpets occurred, and a couple of years before the year in which our popular chronology places His birth. A few hundred years after Christ, the Roman church adopted the ancient pagan winter solstice festival for its own purposes. There is no doubt that the winter festival is a pagan holiday, celebrated among the Greeks as Bacchanalia, and in Rome as Saturnalia. It was a time of drunken revelry and sexual promiscuity.

Examining the pagan origins of what we now call Christmas, we find, for instance, the so-called Christmas tree described in Jeremiah chapter 10, written nearly 600 years before the birth of Christ, from verse 3: “ For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.” This is but one of the pagan customs which our Scythian-Israelite ancestors took out of Mesopotamia when they departed.

And in spite of all this, I find myself at times wanting to defend Christmas, but only because the jews and all the other enemies of Yahshua Christ are continually attacking it. And they do this even in spite of the fact that jewish merchants and bankers profit so handsomely from it! So this is the perennial struggle which I referred to at the opening of this discussion. Yet it need not be a struggle at all, once we attain the proper perspective.

1 John 4:21: “And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.”

We in Christian Identity should be well aware of the prophecies which Yahweh uttered of our people, that there are those who would slumber, and there are those whom He has called into awakening in His marvelous light: the truth of the Gospel and the Covenant. We who are called to understand His Word need not vaunt ourselves over our brethren who have not yet been blessed in that same manner. For God – and no man – decides which of us awaken, and which continue in that prophesied blindness.

Yet if one can use even a pagan holiday to do good, how can that ever be evil? Was that not the example of our Redeemer in the first place? While most Christian Identists certainly would not eat the ham, and most of them may also - as they should - shun the silly tree and the made-in-China decorations, we certainly should not shun our kin. We should reject the commercialism which the jews profit from so handsomely - but we should also reject that commercialism all the rest of the year! We should celebrate and cherish the little time that we get with our families all year long, but for many of us this is the only time we may actually get to spend with them. Therefore we should not despise them, even if they know nothing about those things which we esteem to be true. Rather, this is also an excellent time to testify to that truth.

At John 8:22-23 we find this: “Then there was the feast of dedication in Jerusalem – it was winter – and Yahshua walked about in the temple on the porch of Solomon.”

The feast of dedication was instituted by the Maccabees after the restoration of the temple about 150 before the birth of Christ, after the temple had been spoiled by the Greeks of Syria. Like Christmas, it is a holiday instituted by man, and not by God. Christ was found in the temple during the feast of dedication, not necessarily because He was celebrating the feast, but because that is where His people were gathered! Yahshua was teaching in the temple at the feast of dedication, and although the religious authorities were opposed to Him, John tells us at 8:30 that: “Upon His saying these things many believed in Him.”

We can indeed go to our family gatherings on Christmas, and every other chance that we get. And while we certainly should not go into debt for those unnecessary things which the jews try to sell us, we can, and we should, use those times to testify to the truth of the gospel.

As Paul said speaking of his trial in Rome, albeit in a somewhat different context, at Philippians 1:15-18: “Some indeed even because of envy and strife, but some also by approval are proclaiming the Christ. Surely these out of love, knowing that I am set for a defense of the good message, but those out of contention are declaring the Christ not purely, supposing to stir up tribulation in my bonds. What then? That in every way, whether in pretext or in truth, Christ is declared, and in this I rejoice. And surely I will rejoice.”

Whether in pretext or in truth, if Christ our Redeemer is declared, we too should rejoice. Therefore we should not let the jews take the Christ out of Christmas. Rather, we should celebrate our Redeemer on that day and on every other day. However if the Christmas holiday is the day upon which we can be with our kin, and attest our love for them and for Christ too, then we must certainly take advantage of it as best we can.

So to hell with the antichrists! Transform the pagan winter holiday into a true celebration of Christ. And in the meantime pray for His return, that He may make all new things, and make gone His enemies.

If all these proceedings took place in a court of law, instead of a communist-type tribunal

-the Commission did not print the full transcripts of all that what was actually said during proceedings ? Important remarks and evidence was omitted, but Lemire and his lawyer discovered and exposed it (Why wasn't anyone convicted for tampering ? )

-the complainant wanted to be paid for his 'abuse', but there is no provision for Lemire in case he won! None of the legal bills, time lost from work, travel expenses, etc are covered, but everybody against him WAS FINANCED BY THE GOVERNMENT!!

Where is the justice in that ??

I noticed the post on the Loadown site is gone (as well as many of the thrash albums there) but since I found this, it is one of the great new albums showing a good healthy return to 1980s thrash! real THRASH!! more in the punky / hardcore / crossover style.

Here is a review of a new Partridge Family type tv show in the works.

Leslie Lee Ball (the dude in the centre of the picture with a shag haircut) has been working a long time on this project in the studio and got Shirley Jones as the "mom" character again!

I was stuck on how to write about this album, so just gave some thoughts on most of the songs.

You can download it for free from their website, and it sounds good for a 192 kbps rip.

I will probably buy the vinyl or CD when released as I would give this at least a 60 or 70/100.
(Maybe a higher mark later on, if these songs grow on me as much as PF did!)

There is a donation button, but I have always felt uncomfortable paying for something intangible like an electronic file. When I buy programs, I get the option of them mailing CD-roms, even if it costs extra.

[the Harpsichord piano is back! Woo! this is in the exact same vein as "I Think I Love You".
A spoken/half rapped verse too is thrown in.
Hmmm.
At first I couldn't stop grinning on what a cool tribute this is to one of the biggest hits in pop history.
What will save this from getting killed by critics is the great electric guitar Beatles-like jamming. It turns slightly hard rock / glam metal.]

5. I'm On My Way Back Home (3:44)
[Partridge Family cover and you notice the difference. Leslie Lee Ball's singing is thinner and lighter than David Cassidy but still very good. Reminds me of nasally vocals on bubblegum rock hits like "Captain Groovy and His Bubblegum Army", but Leslie hasn't shown that edge in his voice yet. Maybe on a future episode after he goes to college and is harassed by feminists! Then we will get a rocker like "Lay It On The Line!" ]

6. Is One Without You (3:06)
[wow! TOTALLY in the Partridge Family style! Excellent!]

7. Just Walk Away (4:35)
[Probably the best song on this album.
Excellent power pop/power ballad]

8. You Send Me (4:08)
[cover Motown - sounds like a soft shoe number but set to funk and pop from the the late 1970s/early 1980s]

9. Requiem For 'A' - Much Too Late (4:17)(socio-political lyrics?? mmm, prefer the instrumental! heehee]

10. What A Wonderful World (6:49)[Louis Armstrong cover. Pretty good version similar to the original]

In a chilling illustration of how far Internet censorship has advanced, the Department of Homeland Security seized a popular music blog and shut down the website for over a year on charges it now admits were completely false.

The website in question – www.dajaz1.com – was not some obscure, dubious blog – it was a popular platform for DJ’s that was once featured on MTV.

“Around Thanksgiving 2010, the Department of Homeland Security seized more than 70 domains with no trial, accusing them of copyright infringement,” reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

Dajaz1.com was caught in the dragnet after DHS claimed four songs posted on the website were used without permission, when in fact the musicians and publicists concerned had sent the tracks directly to Dajaz1 with express authorization.

That didn’t stop Homeland Security from seizing and shutting down the blog for over a year, violating the law by refusing to tell its owner why the website was taken and subsequently missing the 90 day deadline for explaining why the owner should forfeit the property permanently.

“Or at least that’s what the owner assumed when he heard nothing. Then the court told him that the government got an extension.”

“But the owner couldn’t see the extension because all the filings in the case were sealed, and was not allowed to testify in court to ask for his property back, says TechDirt.”

The saga finally came to a close when the owner was handed back control of the website only yesterday.

The lesson to take from this is that Homeland Security can now just claim your website contains copyrighted material with no evidence whatsoever and seize it without any recourse.

“This whole thing has been a disgrace by the US government, starting with a bogus seizure, improper and illegal censorship, followed by denial of due process and unnecessary secrecy,” reports TechDirt.

The DHS has already seized dozens of websites merely for linking to copyrighted material, despite the fact that such material isn’t even hosted on the website itself, a process the Electronic Frontier Foundation has criticized as, “Blunt instruments that cause unacceptable collateral damage to free speech rights.”

The targeted website, now finally back in the hands of its rightful owner, has become a poster child for the anti-Internet censorship movement. The front page of the site urges readers to oppose the Protect IP Act, legislation that will give the government even more power to block websites by creating an official blacklist.

As we reported back in October, the bill that has attracted bi-partisan support in the House will force Internet Service Providers to create a list of banned websites and prevent their users from accessing the sites, creating a Chinese-style ‘ban list’ that could easily be abused to silence free speech. Lawmakers like Senator Joe Lieberman have teamed up with Department of Homeland Security officials to push draconian legislation in an effort to mimic the Communist Chinese system of policing the Internet.

“A service provider shall take technically feasible and reasonable measures designed to prevent access by its subscribers located within the United States to the foreign infringing site (or portion thereof) that is subject to the order, including measures designed to prevent the domain name of the foreign infringing site (or portion thereof) from resolving to that domain name’s Internet Protocol address,” states the bill.

Given the fact that the U.S. government is now ordering You Tube to remove videos that contain “government criticism,” the potential for this legislation to be abused to silence political free speech is clear. Add to that the fact that Verisign, the global authority over all .com domain names, is demanding the power to terminate websites deemed “abusive” when ordered to by government without a court order or any kind of oversight whatsoever, and the threat to web freedom is clear.

Even WIRED magazine was outraged at this bill, reporting:

At least one of 1,000 "planet candidates" discovered by NASA's Kepler mission is a verified planet located in the habitable zone of its star, the mission's scientists have confirmed.

"This is a major milestone on the road to finding Earth's twin," said Douglas Hudgins, a scientist with the Kepler program, in a statement Monday. The confirmation will be published in the Astrophysical Journal.

Kepler-22b, located about 600 light years away, has a radius 2.4 times bigger than the Earth, making it the smallest planet ever found in the middle of the habitable zone around a star - the area where liquid water, and therefore life as we know it, can theoretically exist. The planet orbits a star similar to our sun, but slightly smaller and cooler. It completes the orbit every 290 days. Scientists don't yet know whether it is a rocky, gaseous or liquid-covered planet.

The Kepler space telescope, which orbits the sun between Earth and Mars, has been searching 156,000 stars in its field of view - about 1/400th of the sky - for signs of planets since September 2009.

In February, the mission announced it had found more than 1,000 possible new planet candidates, including 54 around the habitable zones of stars. Five were thought to be Earth-sized. However, scientists said at the time that more work was needed to confirm that the signals detected by Kepler were actual planets.

Kepler 22-b is the first of the 54 habitable-zone planet candidates to be confirmed.

Kepler searches for planets by measuring tiny decreases in the brightness of stars caused by planets crossing in front of them. A planet is considered "confirmed" after it has witnessed the same crossing or "transit" three times.

Three male teenagers posed as underage girls online to lure men into sex – and then filmed and uploaded the confrontation to YouTube. Do you agree with their efforts to expose these men or is it reckless and dangerous?

The RCMP is currently investigating the actions of three Chilliwack, B.C. teens who set up, filmed and broadcasted their own sting operation.

Their target? Men who thought they were meeting underage girls for sex.

The teens would first pose as young girls online and chat with local men about meeting to have sex. After a location was established – usually a public place, such as a restaurant — the three male teens would then confront the man wearing superhero costumes and yell out comments such as “this man is a pedophile…he’s here to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.”

The confrontations were recorded by video camera, edited and uploaded to YouTube, under the title “To Troll a Predator.”

YouTube has since taken down the videos, at the request of RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit, which is investigating the actions of these 17- and 18 –year-old teens; the boys dressed as superheroes, such as Batman and Flash, presumably to remain anonymous when confronting their victim in a public place.

“Our main concern is personal safety issues for these children,” Hollingsworth said in a statement to CTV. “[We] just wanted to make sure that they knew the ramifications” of luring men and humiliating them. It’s unclear whether these boys – good intentions or otherwise – will face charges, nor would Hollingsworth confirm if the men confronted in the videos would be investigated, as well.

Perhaps inspired by NBC’s “To Catch a Predator,” the three teens are garnering quite a bit of buzz on the Internet, including seeing a lot of traffic and supportive words from “fans” on their Facebook page, entitled “To Troll a Predator.”

A LOT of these images I started saving the past few years, keeping mostly ones where I thought she looked good.
Might have more, but this is most of them,if not all.
Then the past year or so, started keeping the ones that shocked me and saddened me.

I wish that Lindsay will drop her leecher friends and listen to the friends she dropped that gave her good advice.

I have taken drugs and drank and was kind of fucked up for awhile, so I have hope Lindsay also smartens up, gets tired of her fast living lifestyle, gets rid of her druggie connections and the parasites directing her life towards the wrong way.

We want her back to being the nice girl she seemed to be and came across as.

Shellac is made from bug excrement

Jellybeans are a tasty treat and come in many flavours, but did you realize their shiny coating is made from bug feces? Shellac, also known as confectioner’s glaze, is made from a resin excreted by the female lac beetle, indigenous to India and Thailand. The resin is processed into flakes, dissolved in denatured alcohol to make liquid shellac, and then sprayed on food products or used to make lacquer for hardwood floors and furniture.

Shellac is also sprayed on grocery store apples to make them shiny and keep them fresh in the store. When you pick an apple fresh from the tree and rub it on your shirt, you will produce a nice shine from the natural waxy protection already present in the apple skin. But if you wash that apple first, you won’t be able to make it shine as washing it removes the waxy coating. Apples sold in grocery stores must be washed for sanitary reasons and then sprayed with a fine mist of shellac to restore outer skin protection. Without this waxy layer, the washed apples would spoil too quickly.

Acceptable levels for rodent hairs and insect parts

Have you ever found a hair in your bagel? It might belong to a rodent, and according to Health Canada, that may not be a food safety infraction. Health Canada provides guidelines for the general cleanliness of food, outlining how much microbiological or extraneous matter can be present before it is considered a food safety issue. Extraneous matter includes “animal and insect filth such as excreta, hairs, feather barbules, whole or parts of insects.”

Under these same guidelines, it is acceptable to find up to 10 insects, defined as “whole or equivalent whole forms of insects (more than half a head including entire frons)” in a 225g serving (about 1.5 cups) of processed raisins or currants. The unacceptable upper limit is 20 insects per 225 g. You will probably never find any insects in your raisins or currants, as these are the testing protocols for determining food safety. But knowing there are permissible levels of rodent hairs or insects in some foods, you may want to inspect them closely before consuming.

Gelatin is made from cattle hides and pork skins

Gelatin is used to make many desserts, such as jelly powders, marshmallows and frozen cakes. Gelatin is made from the collagen of animal skin and bones. Gelatin melts to a liquid state when heated, and solidifies when it cools. You may see gelatin form if you use animal bones to make your own soup stock and cool the broth.

Gelatin is the main ingredient in jelly powder. On its website, Kraft Canada states that the gelatin used in JELL-O is extracted only from cattle hides and pork skins, and only from the hides of healthy animals that have passed strict inspections and are found fit for human consumption. You do not recognize gelatin’s taste as an animal product because, as Kraft says, “during the manufacturing of gelatin, chemical changes take place so that the final product, the composition, and the identity of the original material is completely eliminated.” If you have chosen to follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, you may prefer to avoid eating products made with gelatin.

Fruit flavoured snacks are made with the same wax found in car wax

Carnauba wax, a key ingredient in car wax that produces a brilliant shine, is also found in gummy bears and fruit flavoured snacks. Carnauba wax comes from the leaves of the carnauba palm tree, native to Brazil. The leaves are beaten to loosen the wax and then the wax is refined, bleached and sold.

While it may also be found in floor polish, shoe polish, or cosmetics, carnauba wax is used to give a glossy shine to many things you put in your mouth, such as chewing gum, candies, gravies and sauces. It is also commonly used on pharmaceuticals as a coating on tablets to aid swallowing.

Honey is made from nectar and bee vomit

If you think honey is made from flower nectar you are only partially correct. An important part of the process is what happens inside the bee. Bees use their digestive systems to process the nectar by swallowing and regurgitating it several times before finally depositing it into the honeycomb for evaporation and storage.

While this sounds gross, it helps remove some of the water and natural yeasts present in the nectar, which could otherwise cause the sugars to ferment. Ripe honey is shelf stable and never spoils. Honey comes in various tastes and colours, depending on the type of flower nectar the bees collected. For example, clover honey is mild tasting and light in colour whereas buckwheat honey is bolder tasting and darker. Honey may also darken or become a bit stronger tasting with age, but will keep indefinitely in a sealed container at room temperature. If older honey crystallizes, simply warm it up until it turns clear.

One solvent used to decaffeinate tea and coffee is a known carcinogen

Canada’s Food and Drug Act permits three food additives for decaffeination of tea and coffee: carbon dioxide, ethyl acetate and methylene chloride. The last two are chemical solvents that strip the caffeine from green coffee beans or tea leaves. Green tea labelled as “naturally decaffeinated” may have been decaffeinated using carbon dioxide, whereas methylene chloride is more often used to remove caffeine from black tea or coffee.

Methylene chloride, or dichloromethane is recognized as possibly carcinogenic, and for this reason, many manufacturers have switched to using carbon dioxide or the Swiss Water process instead. Of course, the methylene chloride is removed from the coffee or tea before it is packaged and sold, but knowing your tea or coffee has been processed using a carcinogenic solvent may influence your shopping choices.

Supersized beverages can contain most of your daily liquid needs

While hydration needs vary depending on your gender, size and activity level, you should aim to drink enough water during the day so that you are rarely thirsty and produce at least 1.5 L of colourless or pale yellow urine a day. Your body needs water on an ongoing basis to aid digestion, replace fluid lost through breathing and perspiration, transport nutrients to your cells and get rid of waste. Many people drink 8 glasses of water per day, or about 1.9 L to meet their goal.

But would you really drink a large part of your daily volume goal all at once? Some soft drinks and sport drinks are now sold in gargantuan sizes. For example, a large soft drink from a fast food outlet can range in size from 730 mL to 960 mL. The same is true for sport drinks, which are sold in 591 mL, 710 mL and 946 mL bottles. Bottled water is sold in 591 mL bottles but also in 1L and 1.5L sizes. Keep in mind that the average capacity of an adult human stomach is about 900 mL. Rather than overloading your body with fluid all at once, it’s much healthier to drink smaller amounts that add up to your goal throughout the day.

Corn products are in many more foods than you think

Corn is a key ingredient in breakfast cereals, bread, potato chips and French fries, soft drinks, and many prepared foods. In his book The Omnivore’s Dilemma, Michael Pollan writes that more than a quarter of the items for sale in the average grocery store now contain ingredients that came from corn. Check the food label of any processed food and you will most likely find an ingredient derived from corn, provided you know what to look for. For example, corn syrup is added to dried fruit or soft drinks to make them sweeter. Corn ingredients such as cornstarch and corn fibre provide body and a crispy texture to foods like french fries.

A chicken nugget contains modified cornstarch to hold it together, corn flour in the coating and corn oil from frying. But what you might not realize is that the leavenings, lecithin, mono-, di-, and triglycerides and citric acid, can also be made from corn. If you see modified or unmodified starch, glucose syrup, maltodextrin, crystalline fructose, ascorbic acid, lecithin, dextrose, lactic acid, lysine, maltose, HFCS (high-fructose corn syrup), MSG (monosodium glutamate), polyols, caramel colour, or xanthan gum, on an ingredient label, it was likely derived from corn.

Where did that red food colour come from?

Check the ingredient list on your strawberry or raspberry yogurt for “natural colour”. The natural colour in your red-berry yogurt could be carmine, a red food colour made from the dried bodies of female cochineal insects, sourced from South America or Mexico. Cochineal extract has been used for thousands of years to dye fabrics but today is used primarily as a food or cosmetic colouring. Canada’s Food and Drug Act currently allows food manufacturers to declare an added colour by either its common name or simply as “colour”, and carmine is considered a natural colour.

Your red sport drink is another place you will find the use of added colour. But where did it come from? Some sport drinks use Allura Red (also known as Red 40), a petroleum-based azo dye. Allura Red is approved for use in products such as jam, concentrated fruit juice, ice cream, pickles and relishes, ketchup and flavoured milk products. Canadian law regulates the maximum percentage of Allura Red that can be used.

While rare, some people can experience severe allergic reactions to food colouring. However, food colour was not identified as a “priority allergen” in the recent announcement by Health Canada to enhance labeling for food allergens, gluten sources and added sulphites. If you have a concern about a particular product, you should contact the manufacturer and ask specifically which food colouring is used.

Some foods are exposed to radiation

Irradiation is the process by which food is exposed to a controlled amount of iodizing radiation in order to increase shelf life and kill harmful bacteria. Health Canada determines which foods may be irradiated, as well as the levels of treatment allowed and which products are exempt from indicating irradiation on packaging labels. The exempt products are potatoes, onions, wheat, flour, whole-wheat flour, whole or ground spices and dehydrated seasoning preparations. Canada’s Food and Drug Act allows for the irradiation of potatoes and onions to inhibit sprouting during storage. In the case of flour, irradiation is used to control insect infestation in stored food. For spices and dehydrated seasoning preparations, irradiation reduces microbes.

Labelling regulations for irradiated foods are managed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. If irradiation is used on any other foods sold in Canada, whether they are domestic or imported, the food label must identify that the product was irradiated, using both a written statement like “irradiated” or “treated with irradiation,” together with the international symbol for irradiation.
